about

Let's fast-forward now, into today's Chicago, and look at the site where the Chicago River flows into Lake Michigan. A bust of Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable commemorates the welcoming pioneer who finally has been recognized as the founder of Chicago.
Take a moment and look around, as you stand in Pioneer Court Plaza, a name which also commemorates DuSable. You will see some of the most iconic landmarks of today's Chicago.
