Peregrine's and Xack's ways of describing rain in Seattle differ a bit but are equally fascinating between an imitation of the sound rain makes and the use of adjectives like soft and misty.
And, again, just the youthful sound of their voices reflects their genuine intention to inspire people with positive messages and bring a hint of magic to people's daily lives.
Rain is an element that has fascinated writers, poets, artists, and musicians throughout the ages. It's the reason why I also insert some related artwork in our online discussion. There is one of Bob Dylan's most poignant and wonderful compositions, for example, 'A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall', where the songwriter uses open questions to produce some dark and apocalyptic images. The beauty of Dylan's metaphors have frequently been compared with the poetry of Arthur Rimbaud. Metaphors are also present in Peregrine Church's and Xack Fischer's artwork. But their tool is not a guitar, it is an environmentally-friendly chemical substance that makes their images and texts visible as soon as they come into contact with water.
Anyway, each stanza in Dylan's song starts with a question which I repeat to Xack and Peregrine, after having made sure they understand the context and my source. Both like the little poetic game and switch between one another by taking turns to answer each question...
